Fruits Of Our Labor

This week has been filled with many people’s "last" day, week, or month with us here in J-House. So sad, but I am truly glad to have met them all! I seriously will miss these people, but I know that I will have a chance to meet them again whether it is here in Japan, in California, or in Heaven! God I thank you for each newly established relationship made and that I could be a part of their journey and life during their time here! There are so many things I am and should be thankful for that all the things that I used to complain about aren’t even worth mentioning. God, forgive me for being so stupid and whiney (is this even a word?) about so many things.  God, you are good all the time, and I need to remember that!

On Sunday, we had a worship team meeting, and even though everything was in Japanese, I was glad that I was able to contribute and give my 2 cents. They seemed to have agreed with some of the stuff I suggested or noticed within praise team, so praise God that I was able to help out a bit!

So yesterday, I was talking with one of the KCM members and they were saying how they were reminded of this passage in the Bible:

John 4:37-38
37 “Thus the saying 'One sows and another reaps' is true. 38 I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor."

They kind of felt bad at first, but I actually feel so blessed that they (also me!) were able to see people accept Christ, come out to J-House (not only events) and to see come out to the clubs even when they don’t have class or school that day! God truly anointed this team I believe, and I honestly love watching God use this group here in Japan! I am glad that I’ll have a chance to meet the KCM team back in California when I am done here. I hope some of them come back as a Jesus Soldier or even come back on missions again next year! I’ve seen them really try hard to not only make friends, but to go deeper and make believers! Speaking of which, we were able to witness another sister come to Christ this past Friday! Hallelujah! I really think it is a miracle that we were able to experience something like this! Now that’s two sisters this month that has come to accept Christ! I am so blessed to witness that during my term here in J-House! I just pray that they will continue to come and learn and grow here in J-House or whatever church they decide to go to!

I guess the seeds that have been planted are finally starting to sprout! Thank you God and thank you KCM team for helping out! I know you won’t be gone until this Thursday, but I am already feeling a bit sad. It is as if you brought home to me here in Japan. Thank you for being a blessing for me, it was truly refreshing and comfortable while you all were here! Let’s be sure to chill when I get back in January!

Now that the campuses are on Summer Vacation now, I’ll have to be a bit more creative in how I try to reach out to students and also how I spend my time. Thank you God for allowing us here in J-House to see the fruit of our labor this year!
